Questions and answers

What is the difference between a lead developer, fractional technical lead and freelance CTO?

A lead developer is mostly focused on execution and design. Fractional technical leadership adds structure, arbitration and trajectory. A freelance CTO label is broader and often too vague to describe the actual need.

Can this work part time?

Yes. That is often the most relevant format when senior technical structure is needed but a full-time role would be premature.

Can you work with an existing team or CTO?

Yes. Axons can act as senior leverage, a technical right hand, a focused reinforcement or a support layer on overloaded subjects.

Do you only perform audits?

No. Audits can be an entry point, but Axons also supports execution, structuring and the follow-through.

Can you take over an imperfect existing system?

Yes. That is a common scenario. The goal is to understand fast, prioritize well and stabilize what matters without fantasizing a clean slate.

Are you open to entrepreneurial projects?

Yes, selectively. When a project calls for deeper involvement in framing and foundational decisions, Axons can operate in a stronger partnership model.

Do you have a more specific context?

A first conversation is often the fastest way to determine whether the right format is an audit, senior reinforcement or fractional technical leadership.
